RESPECT FOR SELF AND OTHERS AT HOME

Living in student accommodation is a unique opportunity to live in a community, share experiences and meet people. However, in order to make the experience enjoyable for everyone, it is important to set some rules.

THE CLEANLINESS OF YOUR ACCOMMODATION ABOVE ALL ELSE!

You have just moved into your accommodation and it is clean, comfortable and well maintained. You have provided an inventory and a technician will come within 2 months (depending on the emergency) to intervene if necessary.

Your home must be kept clean because self-respect is linked to respect for others: a dirty home can lead to the arrival of insects (cockroaches, rats, bedbugs, etc.) and these inhabitants then invade other homes at an impressive rate. If you notice any insects in your home, please contact the technical service directly using the MAISEL app.

COMMUNICATION, THE KEY TO LIVING TOGETHER

Communication is the key to community life in a hall of residence! It is important to encourage open and respectful communication between all residents.

This includes actively listening to others’ concerns, but also expressing your own.

When everyone feels heard and respected, it is much easier to find compromise and maintain positive relationships

RESPECT FOR COMMUNAL AREAS AND FACILITIES FOR TENANTS

Common areas such as coworking rooms, communal kitchens, laundries, etc. are shared by all tenants.

It is therefore important to keep them clean and in good condition. Be sure to clean up after yourself, put away your belongings, and follow the specific rules of use for each space.

Shared equipment must be used with care and returned in the same condition as it was found.

In coworking rooms, respect the need for silence and quiet. It is forbidden to eat, drink or smoke (even vaporettes).

It is important to turn off the ringtone on your phone and to move away when you are on a call.

Use earphones or headphones when listening to music or watching videos. In communal kitchens, work surfaces, ovens and microwaves, sinks and hobs must be cleaned after use.

So that the next user can enjoy cooking.

BEWARE OF NOISE IN HALLS OF RESIDENCE

For the comfort of all tenants, it is important that you do not disturb your neighbours. In particular, it is forbidden to make noise between the hours of 22.00 and 07.00.

Residents must not disturb their neighbours with the volume of music, radio, video games or television.

TAKING CARE OF CLEANLINESS ALSO MEANS RESPECTING OTHERS

It is important that all residents respect the rules of hygiene in the shared areas of the residence (corridors, communal kitchens, bicycle and rubbish bins, lifts, lounges, community centre, etc.) and do not leave their shoes in the middle of the corridor or their rubbish in front of the entrance to the residence.

Inform the MAISEL technical service if you see an object that does not belong in the exact place where you see it (rubbish, spillages, unwanted odours, etc.).

COMMUNITY LIFE AT MAISEL!

MAISEL teams are on site most of the time, in student residences. Technicians are present and available during their working hours to answer all your technical questions.

For the administrative part, you can go to the MAISEL reception (building U2) from 13:30 to 17:30 (Friday 16:30).

Don’t forget! You can also use the MAISEL intervention request ticket to report an incident, which will give you the best follow-up (app sent on your arrival). To send us a message regarding your rental file, you can write to info-maisel@imtbs-tsp.eu.

By contributing to all these tips, tenants can live in a pleasant and respectful environment in their student residence!
